Your role & influence as Security Engineer
Responsibility: You will be given responsibility for implementing and managing scalable cloud architectures using Microsoft Defender Suite, while collaborating with development teams to enhance cloud-based services, automate operations, and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaboration: Together with your team, you take care of delivering our standardized Microsoft Cloud Security Services. You'll work closely not only with your immediate team members but also with departments such as Sales Engineering, Project Management, and Service Offerings.
Core activities:
- Delivery of standardized Microsoft Cloud Security Services such as projects, assessments and advisory; including implementation, configuration, and client support
- Operational management of security solutions; encompassing monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Development of new security service offerings and improvements; involving research, design, and implementation of innovative security solutions and update.

We envision you as a curious and driven individual who excels in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Cloud Security solutions, and is eager to contribute to the development of our standardized services.
Our new Engineer should be highly skilled on Defender Suite (XDR) within following key areas:
- A bachelor's degree level of working and thinking
- 5+ years of experience, senior level in Security within Microsoft cloud solutions
- Expertise in Entra ID and Conditional Access is essential for managing identities and securing access
- Proficiency in Intune policies, including Firewall, Antivirus, and Attack Surface Reduction (ASR)
- Skills in GraphAPI, Sentinel, and KQL for advanced security management and threat detection.
- Expertise in Defender for Identity, Azure network, and Azure Arc
- Knowledge of Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office
- Understanding of Secure Score to continuously assess and improve our security posture
- Knowledge of Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps to ensure comprehensive cloud security
Additionally, it's important that you have:
- Understanding of Azure service
- Familiarity with Copilot and Copilot for Security to enhance productivity and security capabilities
- Purview and VPN skills to contribute to data governance and secure remote access
- Perform Technical Security advisory
- Proficient in English, as it is the main language used for all internal and external communications. Additionally, proficiency in one of the local languages spoken in Dustin’s operating countries (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Finnish, or French) is a plus
